Who she is:
Though Buffy the Vampire Slayerwas not Sarah Michelle Gellar's first role, the television series was definitely her vehicle to stardom. When she first appeared in the role, her fighting skills were very limited and required creative camera work to make it appear the actress was actually kicking vampire butt. But over the years Sarah trained in various forms of fighting including several years studying tae kwon do to add validity to her action scenes.

Her skills:
Sarah has stated that for her role as Buffy Summers she used a combination of "kickboxing, tae kwon do, basic street fighting and gymnastics". She has a black belt in karate and it is rumored she has earned a brown or black belt in tae kwon do.

Where to see her skills:The best place to see Michelle's fighting skills is just about any episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Surprisingly, her fighting skills have been rarely used in her film roles, but hopefully that will change in the future.

Sandy West

I thought I would end the list sort of where I began... with The Runaways. Sandy West always seemed to me to be the Runaway that might be the girl that lived down the street. While the band's notoriety seemed mostly focused on the lingerie-wearing Cherie or the leather-clad Joan, it was T-shirt-and-jeans for Sandy. The ideal "California blond", Sandy attempted to continue her music career after The Runaways disbanded but never found much success. Sadly, Sandy West passed away October 21, 2006 due to lung cancer which had spread to her brain.

The band rocks and Taylor is a great singer. I know she probably has fans that enjoy her acting and modeling, but personally I would like to see her devote herself full time to the band.

Sass Jordan plays rock and roll with the swagger of a Rod Stewart or Keith Richards and looks a whole lot better doing it. In addition to playing rock and roll on a par with the bad boys of the music world, she is also an actress and veejay as well as a wife and mother. Pretty awesomem I'd say.
